Design Leader

Learning, Leading, and Giving

I began my design journey with an Art degree in Ceramics and Glass. Today, I lead digital product design teams at Amazon. My passion lies in building projects from the ground up, and I've had the privilege of leading several zero-to-one projects. Notably, I spearheaded the first post-purchase experience for Amazon devices, led the design for the first Kickstarter-like experience on Amazon, and co-founded a startup to help customers shop for products based on community reviews.

At Amazon, I head the creator and social marketing design teams, focusing on great design, building a supportive workplace, and staying ahead of the curve. I believe in sharing knowledge and empowering others, which has led me to speak at Seattle’s Interactive Conference, the Amazon Design Conference, Conflux, and participate in panels on tech career pathways. I've also published articles in UX Planet, sharing my experiences and insights.

My drive is to empower the community and help thought leaders make a meaningful impact. I believe in mentoring and building strong relationships to support other designers in their growth. I advocate for a customer-centric approach throughout the product cycle, ensuring that putting customers first is always a priority. I thrive when leading projects from vision to strategy to execution, always aiming to inspire and excite my team about the journey and its impact.

I love the intersection of art and technology and am constantly seeking new ways to innovate and improve the user experience. I’m passionate about creating designs that are not only functional but also beautiful and intuitive. Whether it's through speaking engagements, mentoring, or hands-on design work, I’m committed to advancing the field and making a positive impact.
